The walnut kitchen
A kitchen conceived as part of the home’s living spaces, pairing the character of walnut with a generous pale marble island.

Gathering.
Craft.
Everyday life.
This study considers the kitchen as a place to gather as well as prepare food. The island creates a natural meeting point, while the full-height cabinetry gives the working elements an ordered backdrop. An adjoining dining area continues the same warm material language.
Stone is used as a strong architectural element, balanced by quieter cabinetry and tactile upholstery. Brass details and a warm pendant add a gentle contrast. In a live project, the final stone specification would follow a discussion about cooking habits, maintenance and the finish the client prefers.
